Where was the 1st National FFA Convention held?

The first National FFA Convention was held in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1928. This location was significant as it was where the future leaders and members of the organization came together to discuss agricultural education and its importance. The choice of Kansas City was influenced by its status as a central hub for agricultural development and innovation during that time. Over the years, the convention moved to several different cities, but the founding moment in Kansas City is a historical landmark for the organization, marking the formal establishment of what would grow into a nationwide body of student leaders in agriculture.
